Stephen Phillips

Theia

Stephen leads the development of Theia's advanced VR and AR visualizations for enterprise clients in the AEC space. After graduating from university with a game development degree and multiple honors, he put gamification to use with Unreal Engine and pioneered VR applications such as luxury hotel design reviews, medical facility walkthroughs, real estate pre-leasing, construction site approvals, and award-winning product demonstrations. He manages custom projects and works with company leaders to bring the future of real-time rendering to traditional industries.

Fabio D’Agnano

Architecture University of Venice

Fabio specializes in digital tools for architecture and has worked in 3D modeling and rapid prototyping for more than 20 years. He is currently a director at the Digital Architecture Post-graduate Master’s Course and the professor of Three Dimensional Modeling Prototyping at the Architecture University of Venice. Additionally, he’s curator of the International Conference on Immersive Architecture, founder and partner of Tooteko (www.tooteko.com), and a consultant for the Italian minister of culture.

Omer Harpaz

Line Creative

Omer is studio manager at Line Creative – a disruptive boutique CG art studio in London, focused on real-time rendering for architecture. As early adopter of Unreal Engine, Line Creative successfully set the tone for quality real-time architecture and in-game renders, presenting a high watermark of visual experience. Omer’s career background in broadcasting and television makes him adept at articulating and communicating content, which has allowed him to work with leading brands outside media and focus on architecture in recent years. At present, Omer is also involved with a start-up whose goal is to offer wellbeing tools, using real-time UE4 experiences.

Carlos Cristerna

Neoscape

With over 15 years of experience in the architectural visualization industry, Carlos has helped Neoscape streamline traditional 3D production processes and pioneer new technologies to incorporate into the studio’s offerings. As the studio’s Rad Lab director, Carlos leads Neoscape’s efforts in research and development. In this role, he explores and implements new creative technologies, products, and ideas, bringing them to life to solve real client problems. Recent projects include the development of AR and VR experiences for The HYM InvestmentGroup’s Amazon HQ2 bid, as well as internal R&D efforts to incorporate Vicon’s Motion Capture technology into architectural visualization processes.

Gamma Basra

Foster and Partners

As head of visualization at Foster and Partners, Gamma joined the firm in 1992, working on the new Hong Kong International Airport project. He relocated to London in 1994 as CAD and 3D visualizer, and in 1997, established a dedicated visualization team with a view to position the practice at the forefront of new emerging technologies. Today, the team’s work embraces creating photo-realistic images, animation, and experience-driven films that give an accurate impression of materials, textures, light, and space. The team also specializes in concept design work for future projects.

Gianpiero Monopoli

State of Art Academy

A passion for architecture and computer graphics drove Gianpiero to look for new ways to represent designers and architects’ ideas through images. In 2007 he began working as the project lead artist for the well-known English studio Hayes Davidson. There, he created images for Renzo Piano Building Workshop, Kohn Pedersen Fox, John Pawson, David Chipperfield, Hamiltons Architects, and West8. In 2009, together with Roberto and Manuela, he co-founded SOA. With 20 years of experience in the industry, Gianpiero is also a Chaosgroup V-Ray licensed instructor and Corona renderer primary certified instructor teaching architectural visualization courses.
